Carving pumpkins
Last weekend seems like light ages ago with the sudden weather changes, but it was just over a week ago that we enjoyed a fabulous weekend with Jerry's sister Kim and family (hubby Darren, kids: Reuben, Mason, and Julianna). We had one of Erin's friends staying with us while her parents were out of town so it was a full house but a ton of fun. The weather could not have been more perfect. On Saturday we went out to the Country Basket in Sparta where the kids enjoyed lots of orchard time kiddie fun. We bought a load of pumpkins which Darren pretty much carved all by himself through the kids' direction. Sunday was Reuben's 8th birthday and another gorgeous day. After church we spent time playing at the park and enjoyed lots of cake and ice cream.
