Canada

This past weekend we drove to Canada to see Jerry's family.  The kids had Thursday/Friday off from school so it was a perfect weekend to go and not feel rushed.  While we were there we had a quick photoshoot of all the kids. It is now possible for a photographer to actually pose the kids and not just throw them all into the picture and hope for the best in a 20 second time span.  Kind of sad in a way...the kids are all getting older. Benjamin had his first sleepover at Aunt Kim and Uncle Darren's house.  He was so proud and never batted an eye leaving us for the night.  In fact the next morning both Jerry and I barely got a hello.  Hmmm, maybe he's ready for camp this coming summer?! Saturday afternoon we visited an orchard/pumpkin patch.  The kids had a ton of fun going through the corn maze in their rubber boots.  No one came home clean that day.

A couple samples from our photoshoot.  The photographer took over 800 pictures so hopefully we'll get a couple of good ones!

Playing at the train station during the photoshoot.  Ben took a fall and was covered in mud, but luckily that was towards the end.

At the orchard....little faces peeking out!

My SIL's teased me that when I saw this calf from a distance I asked, "Is that a real cow?"  It wasn't a dumb question...really.

The sign nearby read, "Please don't play tag on top of the straw bales."  Ummm, sure.

Getting ready for our horse drawn wagon ride through the mud.

Grandma, Marcy, Alex, and Erin enjoying the wagon ride.
