 1st grade Pilgrims and 2nd grade Native Americans enjoying a Thanksgiving Feast

Today Erin's 2nd grade class had a Thanksgiving feast at school.  This has been a tradition for many years with the 1st and 2nd graders.  The 1st graders always dress as Pilgrims and the 2nd grade are the Native Americans which corresponds to units that they are studying in school.  They perform a short program for the parents and then feast on turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls, and cupcakes.  I've attended the Thanksgiving Feast for four years in a row.  I'll have a break next year before Ben is in first grade.   It's a fun tradition that both the kids and parents look forward to!
