Fancy Dinner

Claire helped a lot preparing our fancy dinner. She dipped all the chicken pieces in corn starch and cut up the asparagus.
Mmmmm, chocolate fondue. Looks like the strawberries are all gone, now it's just the chocolate.
Happy chocolate faces

Today Claire dragged out our little frying pans that are used at the table to cook your own individual stir fry. We used to use these all the time BEFORE kids because 1. it takes a while to prepare the meal and 2. using an open flame at the table with kids probably isn't the smartest idea. Tonight, however, we thought we'd give it a try. Claire called it our fancy dinner. The kids had chicken stir fry, and Jerry and I made up a shrimp stir fry with asparagus, sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, and sugar snap peas. Yumola! Afterward, we finished off the meal with chocolate fondue and strawberries. Ben just dipped a spoon into the chocolate...no strawberries for him.
