Quick visit

Julianna gained about 3 pounds in each cheek since we saw her last!

We made it to Canada this weekend for a quick visit of Jerry's family. Jerry's parents are gone on a tour of the south western US, but it was great to catch up with sisters, brother-in-laws, and of course all the cousins! We were able to celebrate Reuben's 5th birthday and Justin's 4th birthday. It's somewhat been a standing joke that I ALWAYS leave something when we visit. There has been more than one occasion where Jerry's dad has chased us down 1/2 hour after we left only to hand me my purse or something imperative like that. Well, with them being gone of course there was no one to chase us down this time. And what did I (I mean Jerry) forget? My suitcase! I am placing all the blame on Jerry, however, because he is the one to pack the car. Luckily I packed my make-up and essentials in one of the kids' suitcases, but I will be without my favorite jeans and two of my favorite shirts until later next month. Jerry told me to look on the bright side. When I get my stuff back it will be like getting NEW clothes again. Not quite, but nice try honey.....
