Fairy Garden

Claire and I had a little mommy/daughter date tonight. We went to Everlasting Blooms and attended a fairy garden class. If you haven't been to the store before, go check it out. It's an adorable little shop with tons of cute gifts. For the fairy garden class you bring your own planter and they supply you with 4 plants of your choosing, soil, rocks, and a garden arbor. Of course there were additional "fairy" items that could be purchased. I let Claire take the lead and decide where to put the plants and accessories, and she did an amazing job! They had some snacks and drinks that were served too. Other than the huge glob of strawberry cheesecake that dripped down the front of my shirt, the night was perfect.
Claire working on some of the early stages of our fairy garden.  I'm sitting back, sweating, and drinking my Mike's Hard Lemonade.

The finished product.  The sage tree and bird house hide my cheesecake shirt.  Also, it felt like it was 350 degrees in that greenhouse.

Sitting in its designated spot by the sink.  Let's hope I can keep it alive.
