Picture Perfect Weekend

Claire with a great defensive kick!Erin's K/1st grade team. I think Jerry's trying to look like the tough coach. This picture cracks me up because you can see the soccer field is in front of where the line of people are standing. Let's just say the boundaries in K-1 soccer are a bit loose.A view of our church picnic on the lawn. That's Jerry stuffing his face. The food was sooooo good!

Claire with Ben and probably his 4th cupcake of the evening.

These socks did not make it home. They were thrown in the trash at church.

Erin showing off her multiple tattoos and pink hair highlights.

What a beautiful weekend we have just experienced! This past Saturday the girls had soccer games in the morning. Jerry is coaching Erin's team again this year. Erin has been doing much better this year although she still has the stamina of a kitten. She did score a goal which I think will continue to motivate her to play. I've also been pleased seeing how Claire has progressed. She is more aggressive now and doesn't back down on the ball when someone else is near. Later on that afternoon we had our church picnic on the lawn of our church. There were activities for the kids like a bouncy castle, face painting, tattoos, lawn games, but for my kids nothing beat the stream cutting through the front yard of church. Erin was soaked within minutes of us arriving, but it didn't seem to bother her all evening. Fun times!
