Party Girl

Erin with her buddies Megan, Gretchen, and Lexie
Getting ready to blow out the candles!

Not the most beautiful cake in the world, but it was made according to my almost 6 year old's specifications: white cake, pink frosting, purple cursive letters, and sprinkles.

Last night Erin hosted her first birthday party sleepover. She decided on doing a sleepover with 3 friends instead of a regular birthday party. I was thrilled with the idea because it meant a lot less planning by me. So yesterday after school her friends Megan, Lexie and Gretchen came over. They played, we had pizza, opened presents, had cake, went to the park, came home and did sparklers, watched a movie, and then it was bedtime. Everyone was asleep by 11:15...not bad. I can't believe my baby girl is turning 6!

Cute... I can't believe she's almost 6! Why is the party so early? Wish we could see you on your big day Erin. We love you

Next weekend Erin has a friend's b-day party to go to, and the following weekend we go to Chicago together, then Jerry and I leave for Cali, so we had to do it early ;)
