Claire and I inside a replica of an old fashioned Netherlands home. She's serving me tea and I'm reading the Bible in Dutch. Just like at home.....right! If it looks like I'm hot and sweaty it's because I am.

No school year is complete without a field trip to Dutch Village. At least no west Michigan Christian school! Today I was able to go with Claire's 1st grade to Dutch Village and revisit many of the things I remembered about it from years ago. She loved the swing ride and rode on that with her friend Hailey 4 times in a row. After a lot of begging from her I took a ride as well, but had to focus on the person in front of me the whole time to prevent my lunch from coming up. We had a great time despite the hot windy weather.
