Today marks the end of Jerry's week and half off from work. What a great few weeks we have had together as a family. Today we did some organizing around the house, met my parents for lunch, and then had our friend Michelle over in the afternoon. Michelle has two children, Ann and Jake, both of whom are adored by our kids. We had a fun afternoon of sledding, and then Michelle and I went out for dinner while Jerry watched all 5 kids. I think Jerry is looking forward to going back to work tomorrow!

So much throughout the past few weeks and especially today starting a new year I am reminded of all I have to be thankful for. What a blessing it is to have healthy children, a loving husband.....I could go on! Throughout the past few weeks the song by Matt Redman has been in my head. "Blessed be Your name, in the land that is plentiful, where your streams of abundance flow, Blessed be Your name." May the Lord bless you all in 2008!
