This Friday kicked off some of the Christmas festivities for our family. After the classroom parties at school we all headed over to Jerry's office for their annual kids' celebration. Jerry's work always has a Santa, crafts for the kids, and goodies. Ben went to Santa right away, but neither of the girls wanted to be near him. The kids love going to Jerry's office and sitting in his chair and looking at all the pictures they've made him over the months that he has hanging up. After coming home we opened presents as a family and had dinner. The kids played the rest of the night with their gifts, and after putting them to bed Jerry and I began preparing for another Christmas party tomorrow with my parents and aunt Myrtle. Tomorrow morning our piano is being delivered, and I am so excited to sing some Christmas carols while my aunt plays the piano. I'm hoping hearing my aunt play will get the girls excited for future lessons. I don't think I'll be much of an inspiration to them on the piano. Most of you have heard the one song I can play several times over. I'll have to write more about the issues I've had with the piano movers, but that is a post in itself. Perhaps tomorrow....

We have a great piano teacher in your neighborhood. She is a pastor and does lessons after school. She is amazing with Paige! Let me know if you want her name ...you have my email right?
(And yes, sometimes I forget to read your blog until you comment on mine and then I think ... oh, I should catch up on Lynn.) :)
next time i'm over...we're you-tubing you and a rendition of the Marine's Hymn!
