We joined the Meijer Gardens last year after going to the butterfly exhibit and realizing that if we bought a family membership we only had to go one more time to equal the cost of the membership. It's one of those places, however, that I often forget about going to, but with the past few weeks of beautiful weather my friend Brenda and I decided to take the kids there. I also brought Erin's friend Elle who told me she had been to this "zoo" many times. We all had a great time, although Ben and Erin both came back with skinned knees and elbows due to running/tripping on concrete. I should really learn and carry a supply of bandaids!
