Snowman & Snowforts

My husband was one of the lucky ones to not have to work today (I hope everyone had a great President's Day!), so we were able to enjoy some family time. Actually we sort of split the family up today to make it most enjoyable for Jerry and myself. This morning he took the girls out to Krispy Kreme and then to gymnastics while I went grocery shopping with Ben. For those of you who know what it's like to shop with more than one child... when you get the opportunity to only take one it's heaven!!! I was equipped with fruit snacks, two pacifiers, and a Buzz Lightyear cell phone to ensure my shopping experience was a success. We all met back at the house for lunch, then after Ben's nap Jerry took him to Krispy Kreme (probably not one of Jerry's better eating days) and to the mall to burn off some energy. I took the girls for haircuts, and we then met back home where the kids played outside for a good hour. Isn't it pathetic that it was probably just above freezing yet it felt balmy outside? They had a riot making a snowfort and snowman with Jerry. Ben can't walk in the snow so he was happy just pacing up and down the driveway and then posing for the pictures.
