Five Favorites

1. Prime Time: This is a lotion/gel that you apply under your makeup. It really has helped me with shininess and the overall texture of my skin. I get it at the store that sells Bare Escentuals which is another new fav of mine thanks to my blogging buddies who recommended it!

2. Costco Pesto: This jar of Costco pesto for about $7 is huge. I've typically frozen it in smaller portions, but this last time we went through the whole jar in about a month. As I was looking for a picture of it I just discovered it has 30, yes 30, grams of fat per serving. That's just super!

3. http://www.couponmom.com/: I dislike coupons, but I love a good deal. My friend pointed me to this website which does the bargain shopping for you. Basically, you save the all the Sunday coupon inserts in the paper. Then you can check the website for deals in your state and particular store. They combine what is on sale that week with what coupons you can use for the best deals. No cutting coupons until you're going to use them!

4. Tilex Mildrew Root: This is a miracle cleaner. We had a leaky showerhead which took about a day for our shower to become even more gross than usual. On a recommendation from my mom, who has earned her name in the "Cleaning Hall of Fame" I tried it. After spraying it on I left the room for about 10 minutes. When I came back in to check on it, I was amazed! This is by far the best shower cleaner I have used. Do not ever use Scrubbing Bubbles. It does nothing.

5. Craigslist: I probably haven't made any money on craigslist because I also frequently buy. I am quite pleased, however, that I sold Ben's crib and dresser this week. My favorite find of the past few months has been the picture which is now hanging on the landing of our stairs. It just looks like it's meant to be there.
