Here is Claire and Jordan's "invention" that they worked on for probably a good two hours. Everything is taped down to the cardboard, including the beer bottle which they found in the garage and two massive clay balls which they dug up and molded. As for the actual use of the invention...Mmmmm, not so sure.

A little kung fu on the way to the park!Jerry's sister Marcy and her two kids, Jordan and Alex, came to stay with us for a few days. Jerry was gone on a trip for most of the time so it was great to have another grown-up around to talk with! We did decide, however, that having five kids of our own would drive us to the brink of insanity. The kids had such a great time hanging out, swimming, playing at the park, making inventions (see picture). Here's a run down of the not so typical stuff we did: 1. Apprehended two boys who were trying to steal the kids' bike helmets at the park. Officer Marcy got the truth out of them. 2. Cleaned up poop (thanks to Ben) that was smeared across the computer table. Thank you Marcy for actually being ready and willing to clean up my child's feces while I gave Ben a bath and discarded the most digusting underwear ever! 3. Slept in until 8:45...YES! 4. Played about 10 rounds of golf....with playing cards 5. Watched the Olympics until after midnight. FUN STUFF!

So I'm going to go with potty training isn't happening so well...with poop smears on the computer desk and all!
I'm potty training Drew right now too, every time I think he's doing well he'll have an accident. Today was two poops in the toilet two poops in the pull-up...50/50 not bad, better then on a computer desk I guess :)
I wish I could just pay someone to do this job!
