Saturday we ventured out to Holland to our friends' condo for a small group get together. Thank you Pete and Deb for hosting a wonderful day! We have done a Bible study with 3 other couples from our church this year, and this was our kickoff to our summer break....for good reason, of course. One of the couples, Steve and Alyssa, just had a baby today! Congratulations to them on the birth of Alexis Faith. And in a couple weeks another couple, Scott and Kristin, will be leaving for Chicago for the summer. Scott will be interning in a church down there. So anyway, this afternoon we spent together with kids doing fun things like boating, eating, fishing, croquet and shuffleboard. We only had Ben and Erin because Claire went overnight to a friend's house. Wow...what a difference having one out of the mix. Sorry to my sister-in-law Lisa who may be reading this about to give birth to her third child, but two is soooooo much easier.
