This afternoon we went to my parents' house for a little Valentine's party. My mom loves to have an occasion to give gifts so a holiday like Valentine's Day is the perfect opportunity for her to spoil her grandchildren. The girls each received an outfit for their dolls and Ben got a Matchbox style semi-truck and car rug. He had to go to bed with his truck so that's safe to assume it was a hit. We handpicked flowers for grandma and grandpa (at Meijer) and baked them chocolate chip cookies. What a fun party! Then afterwards, Jerry and I and the kids went to the mall for mediocre Chinese food and let the kids run off all that excess sugar at the play area.
